Physical Properties

  • Whiteness: 96.0°GE Min.
  • Oil Absorption: 0.32±0.02 cc/g
  • Apparent Specific Gravity: 0.78±0.05 g/cm³
  • Moisture: 0.50% Max
  • Residue on 325 Mesh: 0.10% Max.

Test Method

  1. Whiteness: Measured using KETT C-100.
  2. DOP Absorption: Titrate 10g of powder until agglomeration occurs.
  3. Apparent Specific Gravity: Place 5g of powder into a 25cc graduated test tube, measure after dropping from a height of 5cm 100 times.
  4. Moisture: Dried in an oven at 105°C for two hours until constant weight is achieved, then measure the weight loss.
  5. Residue on 325 Mesh: Use 100g of powder, wash through a 325 mesh sieve with water until no more passes through, then dry and weigh the residue.
